DART Annual Review with External Advisory Board members
Due to ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19, the Annual All-hands Meeting was broken up into two events for 2021.
The first phase of the annual meeting provided an opportunity for the project members to share their progress with the External Advisory Board and the Industry Advisory Board, as well as members of the Science Advisory Committee.
During this meeting the EAB and project leadership had the opportunity to meet each other. The EAB was focused on learning about the project details and the project leadership presented the first year’s progress against the project’s strategic plan on file with NSF. The EAB submitted a report that that was then sent to NSF for further review and comment.
Phase 2 | September 13-14, 2021
DART All-Hands Annual Meeting and Poster Competition
Due to ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19, the Annual All-hands Meeting was broken up into two events for 2021. The second phase of the annual meeting featured year 1 updates from each research theme and the Virtual Student Poster Competition.
Faculty and students were asked to attend virtually on both days.
Student Poster Competition
In consideration of the continued increase in COVID cases, the project leadership made the decision to switch the format of the poster competition to virtual.
Students were asked to record a presentation of their digital #BetterPosters. The presentations were scored remotely by faculty judges. Winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for both undergraduate and graduate category) were announced during the conference.
